Breeding with Integrity
We take pride in our commitment to responsible breeding. Dogs selected for our breeding program undergo thorough health certification at 2 years old to meet our high standards. We choose dogs with desirable temperaments, a strong work ethic, eagerness to please, confidence, and obedience.
If a dog meets these criteria and is of appropriate age, we pair them with a compatible sire who shares the same qualifications. We are dedicated to producing healthy, well-rounded dogs that excel as working companions or family pets.
Currently, we have two females, Natty and Roxy, of breeding age who meet our rigorous standards. As long as there is demand, we breed each dog no more than once a year.

Roxy Diesel Repeat Breeding expected early 2025
Dogs from this litter show:
The pups will inherit their biddability, natural game-finding abilities, and well-rounded traits suitable for both work and home life.
Meet Roxy DAM (Right)
Roxy was a delightful surprise addition to the CapeWest pack. During the search for a starter female for a client, Heath discovered Roxy, an impressive import he couldn't resist bringing on board. She exhibits a steady temperament, eagerness to work, boldness, and intelligence. Roxy was trained in Ireland and served as a picking-up dog on shoots. She aims to please and approaches her work with a serious demeanor.
In 2024, Roxy was paired with Diesel, resulting in an exceptional litter of pups. Roxy is scheduled to come into heat in January 2025, when we will repeat this breeding.
Meet Diesel Sire: Diesel (Left)
Diesel has an impressive trialing background in the UK, where he earned his FTCh title. Imported to the U.S. in 2022 by Livingston Gundogs, Diesel's accomplishments include:
